Scattered petals Letters of a princess

Four days. That's how long it has been since I stepped into this room. I'd never really noticed how dark it was. I glance into the floor length mirror and smile. My heart is blooming and my eyes seem to glow with a joy I didn't know I had. Far against the wall i notice through my portal like mirror a box. Long and skinny. Black , tan, and gray. My heart sinks... because I know within that box marked CONVERSE lay over 100 dried petals from past broken dreams. I sigh and advance slowly towards the dark corner of the room. The box is covered in dust. A shiver goes down my spine and I feel cold. I'm wishing for a hug. A hug from him that he would
